"Jack, can we get a word?"
He looked around and all of the reporters clamoring to speak with him. It was just a few months ago when he felt his career was at its end, but tonight goes to show that with one victory it can all turn around.
"Sure. I only have a few moments though." He sets his bag down next to him while the reporters fire off their questions.
Q: How do you feel after that performance?
Jack: I couldn't feel better. I felt good going into tonight. I wanted to earn a stoppage, but Paul's a tough guy, and defended the choke well.
Q: You mentioned at the press conference that you intend to fight at lightweight. Is that still your intention?
Jack: Yes. It's a move I've planned to make for quite a while. It will present new competition, and I'm looking forward to it.
Q: With Rob Jones next challenger already scheduled, where do you feel you fit in at lightweight?
Jack: Paul Rossi was the number one contender at 155. I'm not trying to jump the line, but I feel I deserve a ranked opponent such as Fabiano Bonucci or Vishis Vourture.
Q: Have you spoken with Fazan Khan yet?
Jack: I haven't, but I will see him later this week. I appreciate everybody, but I do need to catch a plane.
Everybody once again congratulates Jack as he leaves the area.
