When asked about his decision to sign with Global Combat, Cayden Redfield has this to say, "You know, fighting has always been a dream of mine. I remember as a little kid and engaging in backyard wrestling with my friends. We were young, dumb, and full of adrenaline. I remember jumping off roofs, on barbwire wrapped tables, and being it with metal trash cans. It was rough. I didn't care though. I knew I was doing something I loved. I continued this passion of fighting all through my childhood and high school. When I could, I joined football and wrestling teams."
Are you worried you might be over your head in GC? "Nah. Do I look worried? We all bleed the same. We all bruise. We all have the same goal. We all want to be the best. How does somebody get to be the best? By beating the best. As far as I'm concerned the other seven guys on this roster are better than me. The only way I can improve my rank is by moving up in this tournament."
What would you say your chances are in the tournament? "I don't know. I have a similar style as some and totally different than others. It's hard to say. I say off the top of my head, I have a 25% chance. If I advance each week, my percentage will go up of course. I'm not going to sit here and boost myself up to this incredible experienced fighter because I'm not. I'm not some arrogant asshole who strokes his own ego. I'll let my talent do the talking for me."
