The training reports will work slightly differently due to this event being a one night tournament with potentially multiple opponents. So when submitting your report it is VITAL you keep these things in mind:
You will want to focus on your fighters strengths and weaknesses. For example, if your strength is boxing then try to come up with a strategy based on out striking your opponents. You might want to be more aggressive and look for early KO's or you might look to out point your opponents and conserve energy, etc. If your weakness is in the clinch, then come up with a game plan on how you plan to escape the clinch when your opponents grab hold of you.
You do NOT want to worry about specific fighters in the tournament, not even the fighters you are matched up in the first round. The reason for this is if you set a specific strategy for one opponent, your fighter will likely try to do the same against everyone else. Only submit a gameplan you are comfortable using in EVERY fight. This is why it's best you focus on your OWN stats and abilities.
Remember, your fighter already has fighting IQ. Your fighter will evaluate how they match up against their own opponents and the higher your gameplan stat is, the more accurate adjustments they are cable of making during the fight. If your fighter is a boxer with horrible BJJ against a fighter who is a black belt, your fighter will NOT jump into their guard and start rolling on the mat with them. While they are capable of making mistakes, this really isn't something you need to be too worried about.
After the tournament, it is otherwise highly encouraged that you DO go ahead and build gameplans around your opponents.
Once the brackets are set and the card is issued, I will be adding a new ''submit camp report'' under the OFFICE tab on the website with the information included in this post so everyone is clear. This is where you will go in the future to submit your RPstats prior to the deadline TBA.
