On the GCC 15 supercard
''First, I'd like to make a huge announcement before we continue on with today's proceedings. On December 26th, we will be heading to Saitama, Japan for the biggest GCC show of the year which will feature THREE title fights and will be headlined by two women in the reigning featherweight champion Misty DeMeans who will be defending her title against Juanita Sanchez! In addition to this, Rob Jones will be defending the GCC lightweight championship against the Global Ultimate Fighter winner Sanit Klahan! The third title fight is currently being negotiated and we will have an announcement on that fight in the next few weeks.''
On the GUF winners
''Team Nation had dominated the entire season including finale night and I think both Demetrius Vitalis and Sanit Klahan owe a lot of their success to Jack Nation. When you look at a kid like Demetrius Vitalis who arguably shouldn't have made it passed the casting phase at the time, get onto the show and make the most of his time there to the extent that he goes on to win the entire thing is a modern Cinderella story in of itself. Sanit Klahan on the other hand had made a dominate run through the tournament and is now on the cusp of becoming the GCC lightweight champion on the biggest show of the year. I think both of these guys have a bright future ahead of them and I know they both feel they still have a lot to prove to themselves as their GCC careers have officially begun.''
On acquiring rights to Supreme MMA
''It was a pretty big deal for us and I am glad we were able to get it done. While I am not able to elaborate on what we have planned quite yet, you all can expect some updates in the New Year. All I am going to say is that with this acquisition it will allow young and up coming fighters globally an opportunity to grow their MMA careers and allow GCC to increase our brand visibility on a weekly to bi-weekly basis.''
On the new co main event
''It was a last minute decision but one's that were driven by the fans. Trixie Redd and Jade Young is a huge match up for the featherweight division and well deserving of the co main event spot on this card. Both of these women have had solid training camps leading up to this fight and I think it's going to be fun to watch. On paper, you just know it has all the earmarks for the fight of the night.''
On the Women's Bantamweight Title Fight
''Sammie Ward is coming into this fight as the overwhelming favorite which is a surprise to me. Even if I was a betting man, I'd have to play it safe and keep my money in my pockets for this one. I don't think those odds are justified, we've just seen too much from Ariel Shadows in regards to her striking prowess to count her out of this fight. Odds aside, Sammie Ward has taken the GCC by storm in terms of fan fare. I think the fans are behind her solid and that plays into the odds here a bit. Sammie Ward has a tall order in front of her in the form of Ariel Shadows but a successful defense here puts her into fighter of the year territory in my opinion. We'll see how this fight goes down tomorrow night, it's going to be an exciting night of fights.'''
On defending the bantamweight championship for the first time:
It's like being involved in any other fight. I'm a little nervous, but mostly excited. ever since the tournament ended at GCC 9 I have been waiting for a clear-cut #1 contender to emerge, and Ariel Shadows is it.
How will she overcome Ariel's 12-in reach advantage?
That reach advantage is crazy. That reach is what I was most nervous about. However, I have trained for it and we believe that with my wrestling I can make it a non factor tomorrow night.
Does she believe Ariel will look to clinch, and how will she deal with it?
She definitely will clinch with me. It's the one advantage she has. I'm not worried about it though. While she is technically skilled, she is not very strong, and we feel confident in me either avoiding or escaping the clinch.
How prestigious would it be to her if she were the first inaugural champ to successfully defend the title.
I didn't realize that no other tournament winners have successfully defended the belt. You're right though. Mila, Cayden Redfield, Jack Nation, and Erik Malkasian never successfully defended their crown…
It would be very special if I were the first to do so. If I'm not successful it isn't the end of the world. I'll be back.
What is her confidence level leading into GCC 14?
It's high. I have several tricks up my sleeve. You all watched my fight with Cinzia Rossi. Everybody saw I can wrestle. The only difficulty I can foresee is Ariel's takedown defense.
Once the fight hits the ground I will have complete control. There is no doubt about it.
