The almost 4,000 people in attendance are still cheering after that brutal back and forth between Osira Themis and Sammie Ward. Sammie and the rest of the TW Combat team are celebrating the win. Members of Themis Peleastra have already shaken hands with Sammie and her corner, and have exited the cage.
Waiting patiently with a smile on her face is Jocelyn Edwards, holding a microphone.
Jocelyn: Sammie, congratulations on your hard fought win! How are you feeling right now?
Sammie: On top of the moon girl. This is one of the greatest nights of my life! I just can't believe I have my title back.
Sammie turns to face her team, continuing to smile ear to ear.
Jocelyn: You we're in some trouble in the third round. How close was she to stopping you?
Sammie attempts to compose herself.
Sammie: She hit pretty hard. I didn't see it coming, and those are the ones that hurt. She put me on my butt, and when I rolled over to get up I'm glad I blocked her first soccer kick or she may still be champion.
Jocelyn: When you got up you began fighting like a woman on fire.
Sammie: I knew she was growing more powerful, and I knew I had to get her out of there, but when I got up I circled and was able to create some space. Osira is a great fighter, and a champion. I know she'll be back strong as ever, and I can't wait to fight her again in the future.
Jocelyn: So what's next for you?
Sammie: There's a lot of talent at the top of the rankings, and I'll fight any one of them.
Jocelyn: You heard her Canada!
Sammie: Hey, just one more thing I want to thank my sponsors…
Sammie rattles off a list of sponsors as her brother, Tommy Ward, and the rest of her corner continue to celebrate behind her.
Jocelyn: Ladies and gentlemen, your two-time bantamweight champion Sammie Ward!
The two women share a brief hug as the shot transitions to the ringside commentators, as they close out the show.
