BIOGRAPHY
Dawit is a Somalian-Born Fighter. Growing up one of 8 in an extremely poor village just outside Somalia's capital, Dawit has a case for being one of the mentally toughest fighters to ever compete. Raised by his mother, Dawit started boxing with his uncle at age 4. He excelled and his frame and athleticism made him a stand out winning several National and African Titles in Boxing, at Age 20 Dawit was selected for the Olympic team but was unable to compete - despite being a heavy favourite in the heavyweight division by African Boxing Punters- due to Somalia's financial crisis. He immediately decided to turn pro, after going 7-0 on the African Circuit and not getting paid a dime he turned to taking unsanctioned MMA fights for money. Due to a fledgling African MMA scene and lack of resources training wise for competitors his boxing background made him a standout and within a short period of time he began gaining a cult following due to his freakish abilities. Dawit has since relocated to the UAE and is training under the guidance of real PRO MMA coaches now and is extremely determined. He isn't phased mentally by winning or losing as his strong religious beliefs keep him motivated. It's been said but not clarified for security purposes that Dawit is the Prince of Abu Dhabi's personal boxing coach.
